OXJAM FESTIVAL COMES TO NORTH WALES
As part of the national live music festival in aid of Oxfam, to raise money to fight poverty in the third world, sisters Jess and Lhotse Whittle are co-ordinating an Oxjam music night at Hendre Hall, Tal-y-bont on Friday, October 27th.
Headlining on the evening will be Welsh music legend Mike Stevens with world music bands Drymabego, Bandabacana, Red Stripe and Batala playing a diverse mixture including Afro beats, funk, roots reggae and samba reggae in the large barn. The S.N.O.G Acoustic cave will have a mixture of rock and acoustic bands throughout the night. The evening will also include a diverse array of DJ’s who will take over the Long Barn, spinning sounds that will feature drum & bass, hip-hop, house and world music until the early hours.
