CORTNEY TIDWELL – 'MISSING LINK' VIDEO AND LIVE NEWS

Cortney Tidwell releases 'Missing Link', the first single to be taken from here widely acclaimed debut album 'Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up', through Ever Records this coming Monday, 6th November.

The video for the single was directed by Gina Birch (ex-Raincoats, video director for The Libertines, Beth Orton, New Order) and was produced by Michael Shamberg (New Order’s video producer, who even makes a cameo appearance). Shamberg was passed a copy of Don’t Let Stars… by a friend which he immediately fell in love with. Like Cortney’s music, the video – filmed on the streets of West London – combines the gritty elements of day to day existence with a naïve magic, capturing her unusual but intoxicating otherworldly charm.

Cortney Tidwell has also announced that she will be taking part in an Ever Records night in London, part of parent company !K7’s 21st Birthday celebrations. For the first time in Europe she will perform with a full band featuring musicians who performed on her album, including Ryan Norris, Scott Martin and William Tyler of Lambchop.
Further dates in the UK and Ireland are due to be announced soon, but the London show, with labelmates Cyann & Ben, lines up as follows:
