Last Gang are an infectious punk band that brings together strong song writing skills and great hooks. They are one of the best live bands around and if you don’t believe me check them out in Liverpool at barfly on the 6th November, Korova on the 11th November, Southport’s Underground on the 10th November and if you want to see them once more for luck they will also be playing at Manchester’s Dry Bar on the 12th November. Whilst on the verge of signing to a major record label, their debut single “Beat of Blue (48 crash)” was released on the 30th October. Described as a ‘ska-laced punk-pop ditty’ it brings to mind great bands like the Clash, Buzzcocks, Undertones and Elvis Costello. It’s so catchy it’ll have you singing the line “you’re going home in the back of a police van” probably for the rest of your life. What a mix- that is probably why it’s already sold out!!! So now you’re gonna have to check them out too see what all the fuss is about.
