Blow Up Press will be exhibiting their first collection of iconic rock photography at Liverpool’s 3345 Parr Street from Friday 1st December. The exhibition will run until January 2nd.
The collection includes Stephen Wright’s legendary image of The Smiths, taken outside Salford Lad’s Club as well as Ian Tilton’s classic Stone Roses shot of the band playing at the Granada studios, which featured on the back cover of their debut album.
Also featured is the work of John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins. As well as taking some of the earliest shots of the Beatles and Rolling Stones as well as countless Jazz and Blues legends, Hoppy found the time to help set-up the legendary UFO club in London.
All the prints are limited to a maximum of 250, which sell out very quickly. What’s more, every print is signed by the photographer.
In the past, collecting rock photography has been an expensive business, with a signed print typically selling for upwards of £500. Blow Up’s framed prints retail at just £150, making them great value.
Blow Up Press offers sexy, exciting photography which is unique and affordable, making them a great gift, and a personal indulgence.
