Rocco De Luca and The Burden announce December tour

The band, signed to Ironworks Records (founded by Kiefer Sutherland and Jude Cole), will start their five date tour on 17th December with a sold out show at the Borderline in London.

Rocco has spent his entire life on the road as his father toured with Bo Diddley. Rocco himself landed the residency slot at LA's Gypsy Lounge, allowing him to open up for the likes of Johnny Cash, John Mayall and John Lee Hooker. As anyone who caught him live at SXSW earlier this year can attest, Rocco's energy and presence onstage is almost unsurpassed for a new artist, his trademark steel Dobro guitar being played in a way that Jimmy Page would be proud of. Yes, he's that good.

The full list of upcoming dates are

Sunday 17th December – London Borderline

Monday 18th December – Glasgow King Tuts

Tuesday 19th December – Aberdeen Lemon Tree

Wednesday 20th December – Manchester Late Rooms

Thursday 21st December – Southampton Joiners Tavern

Rocco's debut album, I Trust You To Kill Me, is out now.
