Barry Gibb buys Johnny Cash home

Ex-Bee Gee Barry Gibb has bought the home of the late country singer Johnny Cash. Gibb is currently recording a new album and hopes to come face to face to Cash’s ghosts.
The home in Nashville, Tennessee was featured in 2005 movie ‘Walking the line’ which featured Joaquin Phoenix as Cash and Reese Witherspoon as June Carter.
Johnny Cash was born in 1932 and died in 2003, he was a country singer and songwriter. Cash was well known for his gravelly voice and his sorrowful songs although some such as ‘A boy named Sue’ and ‘One piece at a Time’ were humorous.
To date he has sold over 50 million albums in his half a century spanning career. Cash was known as the ‘Man in Black’ because he always dressed in black! His song ‘Man in Black’ explains why he always wore black.
