Muse nominated for two awards

The massive UK band ‘Muse’ has been nominated for two Meteor Island Music Awards; Best International Group and Best International Album.

The awards will take place at the beginning of February next year.
Other nominees include ‘The Killers’, ‘The Kooks’ and ‘The Raconteurs’.
‘Muse’ was formed in 1994 in Devon. Their style is a mix of prog rock, heavy metal and classical music. ‘Muse’ hit the big time in 2003 with their album ‘Absolution’, which was produced by Rich Costley. Costley previously produced ‘Rage against the Machine’.

Since then the only direction they have travelled is up. They recently headlined the Reading and Leeds festival and have just released their latest album ‘Black holes and Revelations’.
Muse are also one of the first bands to confirm a performance in the new built Wembley Stadium for 16 June 2007. Tickets are on sale now.
