UK band Maximo Park has announced 2 new live dates for February next year. More dates are going to be announced in the near future.

Maximo Park are the angular indie rockers from Newcastle, mates of The Futureheads. They formed in 2003, this 5 piece band are signed with Warp Records. The band used to have no singer, and just rehearsed on their own. They were about to split up, but they then discovered Paul Smith singing Karaoke in a pub and asked him to join. He did and the band have enjoyed their success, biggest hit to date being apply some pressure
The band are currently working with famed Pixies and Foo Fighters producer Gill Norton, on their new record set for a 2007 release.
