Following a month-long rest in January, Snow Patrol hit the road with much-anticipated shows in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand before returning to N. America for what will be a monster tour. “Eyes Open” has passed the 1million sales mark in the States where the majority of these sold-out shows have been up-sized to accommodate their growing army of fans, cementing Snow Patrol’s status as one of only a handful of UK bands to break America in recent years. “Chasing Cars” is also nominated in the Best Rock Song category at this year’s Grammys alongside songs by Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
Internationally “Eyes Open” continues to find Snow Patrol ever-more fans as it breaks the Top 10 in Germany and racks up platinum status in Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Belgium and 3 x platinum in Australia.
Snow Patrol release new single “Open Your Eyes” in the UK on 12th February.
