In a victory for the little man over the evils of Coca Cola, an unsigned British band have reached a settlement over the unauthorised use of one of their songs. 7 Seconds Of Love successfully got the fizzy drink giant to pay up for using their “Ninja” song without permission. The song and it’s ‘distinctive’ kitten video were used without permission in a South American video by the Jack White endorsed teeth rooters and an undisclosed out of court settlement was agreed. In a statement, Coca Cola said: “The creative talent of 7 Seconds of Love is quite evident and we wish them all the best.” The adverts have now been taken off air and the band retains all copyrights. Makes you feel good about the world don’t it. Hurrah!
