James Jamming Once More

Tim Booth has been speaking of his legendary band’s comeback, following the announcement of a UK tour set for the spring. Booth was fashionably vague on the details, admitting that he ‘didn’t really know’ how James came to be reunited and cryptically citing ‘a load of synchronistic events’ as the reason for their re-emergence.

One thing he made a little more clear however was that being back in Manchester and getting together with fellow band members Larry Gott and Jimmy Glennie had been a positive and inspiring experience. Talking to XFM, Booth said: “It was really fantastic…we just started jamming. We didn’t even tell our manager but…we felt we had to see how far it could go.”

James play Manchester MEN Arena on April 28th. The tour also visits:

Glasgow Academy (April 21st)
Newcastle Academy (April 23rd)
Birmingham Academy (April 24th)
London Brixton Academy (April 27th).

Tickets for all dates go on sale from 9am on Friday January 26th
