New Elbow album almost done

Guy Garvey has spilled the beans on the follow up to Leaders of the Free World.

Speaking to NME.COM, the singer revealed that the as yet untitled new effort contains 'the darkest stuff we've done'.

He also talked candidly about the impact that band members' personal circumstances has had on the recording of thier fourth album.

He explained: “Theres just a lot of things going on…some amazing stuff, lots of light and shade. Just in terms of the families that are growing up in the band. Everybody's happy in that respect…it's quite a mixed bag”.

No release date has yet been announced for the record. Songs expected to appear include 'Starlings' 'Friends Of Ours' and 'Brambles'.
