Artist Yoko Ono will release a new album on 6 February, which will feature interesting collaborations with some of today's most cutting-edge musicians.
Yoko Ono, most famous for being John Lennon's wife and controversial artist, has worked with a wide array of musicians to produce 'Yes, I'm a Witch', including Anthony of Anthony and the Johnsons; Peaches, Le Tigre; and The Flaming Lips.
The album is a product of the major influence that Yoko Ono has had on groundbreaking and award-winning artists.
“I have always been a fan of Yoko Ono. I chose the song ‘Toyboat’ from her album Season of Glass. It is a very brave and elegant song that captures so much grief with an almost child-like innocence.” – Antony of Antony and the Johnsons
“It was a real honour to work on a track of Yoko Ono's. ‘Shiranakatta’ is one of the most exquisite and tender compositions from her timeless masterpiece ‘Approximately Infinite Universe’. You could feel on the track that there was so much life going on, it was great to be a part of that.” – Craig Armstrong, composer
(‘Ray’, ‘Moulin Rouge’, ‘Romeo & Juliet’, U2, Madonna and Massive Attack)
