MANICS CONFIRM LIVE DATES

Welsh rock overlords the Manic Street Preachers make their much anticipated live return in May with a while host of live dates across the UK. The release of their new album ‘Send Away The Tigers’, is slated for a release some time in May and will coincide with the 23 date club tour. The news for Welsh fans is good as they will not only have the chance of catching the band over two nights at Cardiff University (May 11th & 12th ) but a rare date in the North has also been confirmed. The Manics last played Llandudno as a warm up for their headlining slot for the Reading Festival in 2001. They will return to the seaside town on the 26th of May to play the Venue Cymru Hall. Talking about the tour bassist Nicky Wire has promised that the performances will feature “Springsteen-esque long sets, working class rage, make-up and dumb punk fun”.
