RAP AWARDS SET FOR THIS SATURDAY

The Welsh RAP (Rock and Pop) awards will be held this Saturday at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno. The nominations were recently revealed over the course of the day via Radio Cymru and the ceremony will showcase an array of up and coming Welsh language music. North Wales Rap monsters Y Genod Droog lead the way with 4 nominations as well as individual nominations for frontman Ed Holden, as Best Male, and Dyl Mei as best Producer. The Genod will also be performing live at the bash with the string section they showcased at the BBC Electric Proms last October. The ceremony will get under way 8pm Saturday with a programme dedicated to the show on Radio Cymru on the 19th. The main categories and contenders are listed below and all the results and bad behaviour will be reported here on Glasswerk.
