Organisers PCL are being tight lipped about the other acts performing this year.
They said: “ We’re releasing the line-up slowly and call it a weekender because, for us and the type of music lover this appeals to, every act is an attraction.
”It’s not some complicated grand plan though, we’re driven pretty simply by daydreams of the kind of event we ourselves have always wanted to go on in Scotland.”
Commenting on what festival goers can expect too see from this year’s Indian Summer, PCL said: “Each act has a sense of being what’s cool, sometimes deliberately, sometimes not, and if they are cool then they don’t care.”
They added: “Everyone has their own take on music appreciation, but we see it as looking for music that rings ‘true’ in an undefinable sense of the word.”
BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Radio Scotland DJ Vic Galloway praised Indian
Summer, saying last year’s festival was one of his ’favourite events of 2006’.
He said: “It looks like 2007 will be equally good, if not better, I personally can’t wait.”
