Erasure – I Could Fall In Love With You

Despite a combined age of about 300 Vince and Andy just keep on plugging away don’t they. This isn’t the grand departure into grindcore thrash metal that so many fans may have been wishing and hoping for but hey what can you do? Still camper than a holiday at Butlins, still cheesier than a plate of Camembert and essentially the same record they’ve been releasing for the last 20 years I Could Fall In Love With You is their typical brand of retro synth-pop. But are they going to care? Are they hell! If people bought their cover version of Solsbury Hill then they’ll buy this.
