Panic have succeeded in delivering another mangled assortment of rhythms and styles in this story-like, Sound Of Music-esque (not sure Julie Andrews would agree that “sleeping with roaches” were on the list of her favourite things,) new single.
For Panic fans, this is probably a very exciting and much applauded song from their album A Panic You Can’t Sweat Out. And it’s not all that bad; some credit should be given for experimenting with various musical styles, which include: strings, percussion, and piano tones. Also, the variety of ways that the lyrics are delivered: sung, said and whispered, at least keeps it interesting. If you’ve liked what other offerings from Panic! At The Disco, you’re bound to like this one.
