Some people will call this track the sound of the summer. Others will call Mumm-Ra bandwagon-jumping slackers. Some people need to learn that the lyric ‘sun’s in the sky’ alone will not be enough to gain you widespread acclaim for minimal effort. It takes the band half the song to get any sort of harmony going, and the first minute will only be appreciated by those having a siesta. It is such a shame that Mumm-Ra have failed to build on the great promise shown in tracks like Out of the Question, but I guess some bands prefer to take the easy route. Let’s hope they manage to get back on track with the next single.
