THE THRILLS, ROSS COPPERMAN AND THE WOMBATS JUST ADDED TO

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June 2007
‘THE ONLY GLASTONBURY ALTERNATIVE’
Knowsley Hall, Liverpool / 1PM – 11PM

The Knowsley Hall Music Festival line up just gets stronger! After making history when thousands of tickets were snapped up in the first few hours of going on sale, the countdown has begun for the biggest festival to ever to hit the North West lands in Liverpool! Now, with less than 6 weeks to go more of this summers most hotly tipped new artists are set to take their place on stage in this summer’s best festival line up.

Knowsley HQ are delighted to announce the latest stellar additions to the main stage these include The Thrills, Ross Copperman and The Wombats!

Hailing from Ireland, The Thrills successful second album ‘Lets Bottle Bohemia’ unleashed their infectious, playful sound into the mainstream. Now the effervescent 5-piece are still working the magic for their ardent fan-base, taking time out the studio to shine some of their sun-charged classics at Knowsley Hall Festival!
Local lads The Wombats have been championed by the likes of Radio 1 and NME and Zane Lowe described their single as the ‘Hottest Record In The World!’
Last month they made the national news for being the first unsigned band to sell out the 1000-plus capacity Liverpool Carling Academy purely through word of mouth. On top of receiving rave reviews internationally, the frisky, gritty pop-pups have been making waves amongst their global fan base and we can’t wait to have them back on home turf!

Dan from The Wombats said: “We're made up to be playing a festival so close to home and with such a great line-up! Let's hope it doesn't rain and bring all the otters out of hiding.'

Ross Copperman meanwhile has been breaking records of his own when he made it to number 1 on iTunes with his download only single ‘As I Choke’
Originally from Virginia and based in London, Ross is a prolific musician and has been recognised for his unique song writing craft that has formed a ‘widescreen sound stage’, winning melodies, and solid vocals.
His single “All She Wrote” is underpinning the trailers for ‘ER’ and “Without A Trace” here in the UK and in America. He has played with the likes of Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen; Ross is quite simply everywhere!
Don’t miss the sensational live sets from The Thrills, Ross Copperman and The Wombats only at Knowsley Hall Festival!
