Zanzibar king and deep rooted folk musician Colonel Dave Owen is to team up with Liverpool legend Pete Wylie to support The Who at Knowsley Hall. Sat 23 June will see Dave and The Mighty Way give out an eclectic mix of Liverpool shanties. The weekend will also see The View, The Coral and The Zutons amongst other top acts.
The Colonel brings a fresh twist of heritage to local music and is well deserved in getting the opportunity to support The Who. He also is hosting a top night at Zanzibar this Sunday 20th May, featuring acoustic legend Tom Doherty. Make sure you get down to this special night.
