Playing in a band that has won awards next to Sean Paul and Shakira is an amazing feet and Fiston Lusambo who has played with Papa Wemba, 2006's Best Soukous Entertainer at the International Reggae & World Music Awards in New York, is coming to Liverpool.
Fiston Lusambo played guitar in the Papa Wemba band. He is also an accomplished teacher in the fast, finger licking styles of the Congolese Guitarists whose technical brilliance and astonishing virtuosity has made them African Legends, Congolese guitarists ARE among the world's very best.
Fiston Lusambo in conjunction with MZONE will be hosting three master classes on the Guitar styles of D.R. Congo. This is your one off chance to learn the techniques of Congolese guitar.
Their famed dance music, Soukous, is revered world-wide and it would be a fantastic opportunity for proficient guitar players aged 14 upwards to come and extend their skills by taking on this new and exciting challenge!
