Modest Mouse Added To Wireless Line Up
The Only Ones and Figurines are the other acts to be added to this years
02 Wireless Festival.
The Only Ones were originally formed in 1976 and are an influential rock and roll band, initially active in the late 70's the band straddled the music territory between punk, hard rock & power pop. They are best known for the song 'Another Girl, Another Planet' and have recently reformed, this will be their first EVER festival appearance and will be appearing on the White Stripes day & were requested to play by The White Stripes themselves.
Figurines are the latest act to be added to the Kaiser Chiefs day, the band were formed in the mid 90's in Denmark and have gone on to have two number one singles in the Danish Alternative Chart and are about to release their third album.
Modest Mouse will play on the White Stripes day which is Friday in Leeds and the Thursday in London.
