Maybe not an immediately likeable tune as such, it is still a definitely a grower and after a few drinks is bound to have you up on the dance floor. Kiss You Off is the first single by the Scissor Sisters where the abnormally high-pitched Jake Shears has passed on the lead vocals to Ana Matronic and it definitely results in a slight change of direction for the band. With a distinct Goldfrapp feel to it, Kiss You Off perhaps doesn’t quite have the same catchiness as songs such as Laura and I Don’t Feel Like Dancing but it is still filled with the funky attitude synonymous with the band. Expect to hear it overplayed absolutely everywhere soon.
