Gogol Bordello Confirm Glastonbury Performance

Gogol Bordello's new album Super Taranta! is released on 9th July
Gogol Bordello have added a performance at Glastonbury to the list of UK Festivals shows they are doing this year, performing on Friday 22nd June on the Main Stage. The band are already confirmed to perform at T In The Park, Oxegen and Reading/Leeds Festivals.

The Glastonbury performance precedes the release of their brand new album 'SUPER TARANTA!', out on July 9th, the follow up to their breakthrough 2005 release 'Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike'.

According to Gogol Bordello’s frontman and visionary Eugene Hutz, the word SUPER TARANTA! can be found only in the Gogol Bordello dictionary, but is derived from Tarantella, an Italian form of extreme traditional music that was invented to cure women with hysteria.
