Hold On To The Sonic Hearts

Liverpool quintet The Sonic Hearts will release their debut slice of uplifting indie-pop pie, in the form of debut single ‘Hold On’ as a limited 7” (‘Everton’ blue vinyl, no less) and as a digital download on 16th July.

Crammed with outrageously lush harmonies, a stand out melody and fine musicianship; it’s a song that will undoubtedly be floating across airwaves, festival sites and indie club dancefloors alike, throughout the summer and beyond.

B-side ‘The Number Song’ is a beautifully crafted and lazily hazy song that offers up a whole other, more down-tempo side to the Sonic Hearts’ sound. It showcases their perfectly fragile harmonies, led by frontman Sean and backing singer Kirsty, which are sure to become synonymous with the band’s identity.

The Sonic Hearts are currently recording their debut album (produced by Jim Lowe, who’s worked with The Stereophonics etc) at The Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire. Currently in the final stages, the album promises to capture the magic and charisma of their live performances whilst showcasing a truly epic sound. On completion of the record the band embark on a succession of live dates around the country, including a tour with Air Traffic and festival dates in the summer.
