The Stills Release Without Feather with Bonus Tracks UK only

Catchy headlines and intros have never been our strongest point. Here's the facts:

Back from the Kings Of Leon tour with their first album in the three years. The much anticipated follow up to Logic Will Break Your Heart is out this week and… we are assured by The Stills new record label Drowned In Sound Recordings and the band themselves we will not be disappointed.

Drummer Dave Hamelin (who wrote most of the debut album, as well as Without Feathers) steps up to the mike to share co-frontman duties with vocalist/guitarist Tim Fletcher. Bassist Oliver Corbeil remains, touring keyboardist Liam O’Neil takes a permanent place, with newcomer Julian Blais picking up drumming duties.

Recorded in their home town, Montreal, in Canada, the band roped in various fellow Canadians for contributions on the album, including Metric’s Emily Haines, Sam Roberts and various members of Broken Social Scene.

DiS make ‘Without Feathers’ available in the UK on a 4th June. The first single to be taken from the album, ‘Destroyer’, is released on 21st May.
