Classic Crüe: The Show Must Go On.

Motley Crüe played Manchester Apollo last night to a sold-out crowd of young and old die-hard fans. Vince Neil’s high pitched squeals are supplemented by a backing track for parts of the set, which seems a tad crass and most definitely NOT rock n Roll but he’s getting on a bit so we’ll forgive him. The other highlight is Tommy Lee emerging at the start of the show to make his apologies for being injured at Download. Apparently a girl swung on his arm and dislocated his shoulder. Lee (pictured) is only able to play the second half of the set while a replacement plays the first half. Verdict: the show must go on. Classic Crüe.
