Kula Shaker : Did they always sound THIS good?

The freaky flaky Krishna mob are set to release Strangefolk, their new album, on their own label and their first for SIX YEARS!

It's been too long and it hasn't taken the band this long to write it, as Cripsin Mills puts it, “We were inspired to make another album. The time was right. It's a time for musical independence, the power is going back to the artists. It's up to each of us what we make of the opportunity.”

The band hit the road this month on a short UK tour and are sure to be around again when this great new album hits the shops. Sneak previews reveal a potential single in “Great Dictator (of the free world)” and also a more familiar recording of “Narayana”, Mills' collaboration with The Prodigy, which features on Fat Of The Land.

It just shows that absence DOES make the heart grow stronger. Peace man!
