Laura Critchley – Sometimes I

Think Sheryl Crow come Shania Twain, with a British accent and slightly more talent, and you can pretty much sum up the song from there.

It is easy to listen to pop, with a slightly more alternative edge. This song about “fooling around” does have some clever rhymes, but lacks a certain “wow, I have to hear more” factor.

In fairness, however fun the song is, it does sound slightly like a Eurovision song contest entry, although it would have done better than the shameless 23rd place we ended up in this year.
