Following hot on the heels of previous single Magazine comes PLAY YOU, the brand new single from WE START FIRES – a playful yet subversive ‘girl meets boy’ pop song – set for release on 20 AUGUST 2007 through Hot Noise.
We Start Fires kicked off 2007 in a suitably all-guns-blazing fashion, first supporting new fans The Rakes at a sold-out Brixton Academy and then, after a brief but impassioned courtship, signing with new independent label Hot Noise. The bands first single for the label, Magazine, gained impressive reviews in the press and also hit the play-lists of both Radio 1 and 6 Music.
