Honeyroot - The Sun Will Come
Album Review

Honeyroot – The Sun Will Come

Don’t let the fact this has been made by the lead singer of Heaven 17 put you off – this aint no 80s music.

Honeyroot gives you the perfect beach chill out album which has a great calming effect akin to Moby or Air. There is a euphoric dream like quality to most of the songs which are an electro wall of sound, some enhanced by haunting vocals. ‘Nobody Loves You’ has a Morcheeba soulful sound, creating images of sun-shimmering oceans. ‘People Say’ brings the bpm up a bit – but only slightly – before it returns to a lazyitis level. The light, airy dance music is pure and simple with no messing. Pack it in your case for summer listening.
