Bestival Update

Only five weeks to go until the festival you've been waiting all summer for!
And with this datemark Rob Da Bannk announces yet more winderful acts to the Bestival Line-up.

SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO, PATRICK WOLF, JACK PEÑATE, THE WOMBATS, THE EGG, THE BEES SOUNDSYSTEM, PLUS MORE

If you're literally bursting at the seams with sheer excitement for this year’s Bestival you haven't got long to wait now and you'll be praying the weather holds up so you can party on the Isle Of Wight.

Already announced are headliners – The Chemical Brothers, Beastie Boys and Primal Scream plus Gregory Isaacs, Soul II Soul, Gossip, Billy Bragg, The Go Team, Roisin, Spank Rock and many many others.

The last of the line up includes Simian Mobile Disco bringing their phenomenal live show to the Big Top on the Saturday, multi-instrumentalist wünderkind Patrick Wolf plays the Rock n Roll tent, plus Emma McGlynn & The Monorails, I Like Trains, Jack Peñate, Miss Odd Kidd, Mice Parade, The Wombats and many more. The Beard & Moustache competition is back again this year in association with Everyman. TacheBack is back for 2007 and it’s bigger and bushier than ever before! Taking place in the Dressing Up Box on site this is a serious event with some serious voting going on. You know we love a good charity event at Bestival, and this is a perfect hook up for us, as every September, the Everyman Male Cancer Awareness Campaign calls upon men across the UK to grow a sponsored moustache raising vital cash to fund research and to increase awareness of male cancers.

Last year TacheBack raised a fan-tache-tic £165,000. This year, we would like to challenge even more of you macho men out there to get hairy and help us raise even more cash.
