WHAT'S INSTORE FOR KATE NASH?

Singer songwriter Kate Nash, celebrates the release of her debut album, 'Made Of Bricks', with a free show and signing session at HMV's flagship store on Oxford Street, in London's West End on the CD's release day, Monday 6th August.

Showtime starts at 6.00 pm after which Kate will remain in the store until 7.30 pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new CD on a first come first serve basis.

'Made Of Bricks' released through Fiction Records, contains the much acclaimed single 'Foundations' which reached number two in the UK singles chart in June this year.

Due to sensational demand, Kate Nash’s much-anticipated, ‘Made of Bricks’, has been brought forward from its mid-September release date. The last time frenzied fan demand caused a similar rush-release was with the Arctic Monkeys. Such is the phenomenal demand for Kate Nash’s ‘Made Of Bricks’ that it is being brought forward a staggering eight weeks.

In a little under 12 months, Kate has emerged from her humble suburban beginnings and blossomed into a disarmingly sassy, punk-pop princess, telling urban folk tales with charm and witty cynicism. Her songs have won over both young and old; from the legions of fans that have flocked to her, to the knowing, wizened old punks who draw comparisons with Kate’s poetry to that of John Cooper Clarke.
