CERYS TO RELEASE WELSH LANGUAGE EP

Cerys Matthews has announced her return to the musical fold with the
release of her first ever Welsh language only material. The 4 track EP,
Awyren = Aeroplane, will be released on My Kung Fu Records on 15th
October.

On the release of the EP, Matthews says “This is my first EP since
Catatonia's first EPs in 1993 and it is extra special as it's my first
ever Welsh language only release and because it's being released on My Kung Fu, a label based in Cardiff, where I was born.”

On releasing Cerys' return to music since 2006's 'Never Say Goodbye'
album, My Kung Fu Records owner John Rostron says “Cerys has an
incredible voice, is a unique talent and she is a remarkable individual.
Awyren = Aeroplane is a gorgeous record and will remind everyone why
Cerys is a Welsh National Treaure”.

Cerys heads out for a short tour of Wales in November, the dates are

5th Nov Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan SOLD OUT
6tH Nov The Arts Centre, Aberystwyth
7th Nov Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd
9th Nov Blake Theatre, Monmouth
10th Nov Theatr Hafren, Newtown SOLD OUT
11th Nov. Grand Theatre, Swansea
