David Guetta – Love Is Gone

Hmm, didn’t I hear this song on a car advert? Oh no, that was the one he released before with The Egg, wasn’t it. Well, This one sounds very, Very similar. Not that that’s such a terrible thing, because “Love Don’t Let Me Go” was definitely a hell of a tune. Just don’t just do the same thing again please David. The only difference I noticed was that the singing is way camp-er in this track.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a banger, that’s for sure. It’s just…I HATE this kind of electro/house. It’s skirting around being a possible dirty, sleazy Electro dream, but instead it is just a bit too lame. It’s the kind of music that you can imagine a room full of nose-jobs, platinum credit cards and guys in faded jeans dancing self-consciously too, whiles looking at you, whispering “Jeezus, they let ANYONE in here nowadays” just loud enough for you to hear it. I think I’ll sit this one out, thanks.
