This bank holiday weekend the worldwide festival phenomenon that morphed from the almighty Cream brand of the 90's, Creamfields, is back!

The line-up as previously reported is as good as ever. Featuring Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Kelis, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Ronson, LCD Soundsystem, Erick Morillo, 2ManyDJs, David Guetta, + many more.

With the capacity being increased by ten percent the dance festival is also BIGGER than ever.

This year Creamfields have promised to increase security levels at the festival with a massive operation in place for next Saturday’s event. The festival is expected to attract over 45,000 people and the organisers and Police expect this year’s event to be safer than ever. Working closely with Cheshire Police, this year’s crime reduction strategy includes:

-A greater number of police on site
-Metal Detector archways at all entrances
-Metal Detector wands at all entrances.
-Increased security personnel and stewards
-Spotter teams at both entrances to prevent troublemakers from entering the event
-Increased festoon lighting in and around the site
-Increased security bag checks
-Information points around the site to help people navigate their way around

Weather boffins have looked in to their crystal ball and are predicting that the summer will finally be upon us, just in time for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Temperatures are tipped to nudge the thirties and the hot weather will offer respite from the mud baths that have been an unwelcome feature throughout this summer’s festival circuit, and to prepare for the upturn in conditions Creamfields organisers are stocking-up on Strongbow cider, with sales of the beverage set to overtake beer for the first time at this year’s festival.

Creamfields 2007 takes place on Saturday 25th August Bank Holiday weekend, with a line up that includes: The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Kelis, Mark Ronson, LCD Soundsystem, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, 2ManyDJs, Ferry Corsten, David Guetta, Eddie Halliwell + many more.
