Cat the Dog – I’m a Romantic / Devil in Me
I’m a Romantic is the debut offering from Brighton’s four piece Cat the Dog.
The influence of the likes of Nirvana and Queens of the Stone Age are very apparent from minute one of this single. Frantic drum loops and devilish guitar riffs accompany front man Chris Mellian’s shouted chorus of “Why don’t you come get it”
‘Devil in Me’ is equally as catchy musically with a softer vocal more in the ilk of Subways. With a support slot with Eagles of Death Metal in the offing, the future looks bright for ‘Cat the Dog’, even if they do have an awful name.
