Beastie Boys Rock Bestival
Since their invasion of UK soil in 1986, with the release of License To lll, Mike D, AD rock and MCA have been a rap group, a thrash band, a punk band and a funk band.
Arriving on the newly renamed Isle of Mike the Beastie Boys gave their all, showed us the whole regatta and with their cheeky English quips and jibes proved they're still radical and cheeky as they were when they donned baseball caps and VW medallions.
Their dress sense may have improved but their attack on the main stage carries the energy of teenagers. Two dazzling performances in one weekend from one of the most sought after acts on the Bestival 2007 bill.
