‘Please Yourself’ featuring guest vocalist Lucie Johnston doesn’t have much in the way of context – kind of like the latest Shoot Em up flick – you get what you expect. It’s in your face, it does what it says it will do, delivers the punches where they count, but beyond that there isn’t much else to brood over.
In fact it’s the kind of music you’d expect to hear thrashing away in said genre. But this is by no means a bad thing; its pure club meets rock music. It’s well engineered and memorable. What else do you need?
