Editors - An End Has A Start
Album Review

Editors – An End Has A Start

Editors continue to enthrall me.

Back with the second single, and title track of their new album, An End Has A Start, I know that by all rights I should probably hate this band, everything about Editors is still Joy Division-esque, from the sinister brooding vocals to the swelling sound conjured below it, they seem not to have stretched themselves at all and, to be honest, nothing much has changed when comparing this single to others from the previous album.

But something always catches me and holds my attention, even if it is not instant, they have not been over-hyped or over played, they are simply there, a part of the current musical landscape, their grandiose swirling symphonies echoing through my head for a long time after the CD has stopped.
