Crawling out of the suburbs of Coventry armed with an earful of appreciation for the Madchester and Britpop days gone by, The Enemy continues to fatten themselves on the rewards of nostalgia taken from their number one album ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’. A Supergrass strut to the vocals of the cocksure Tom Clarke bounces off the hazy, stoner Stone Roses guitar base to ooze urban charisma. There’s enough eerie heart in this single to suggest that The Enemy can add a bit of depth and discovery, to their brazen base and keep strutting through second album territory and beyond.
