My First Boat Party with The Wombats

The Wombats have announced that they will be hosting two homecoming boat parties on the Mersey entitled ‘The Wombats proudly present…My 1st Boat Party’ on 18th and 19th October.

The two parties are being held to celebrate the release of the band’s debut album ‘The WOMBATS proudly present…A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation’, released on 29th October through 14th Floor Records.

The Wombats will be playing a full set on each night, and onboard to help keep the party afloat will be special guests To My Boy, James Owen Fender and Alexis Blue. There will also be DJ sets from KIDS, Revo (Evol), Brendan Long (Bugged Out!) and the Mercy DJ Squad.

The boats will depart both nights at 9.15pm from the Pierhead for a cruise around the Mersey, returning at 1.15am. Tickets can be bought from Seetickets or the bands Myspace (links below)

Tickets are expected to sell out fast, make sure to purchase tickets early to enjoy this unique opportunity to see these marsupials take their show to the water. There will be a special aftershow hosted by The Wombats at Korova, Liverpool.

As previously reported the band intend to play a gig in a newsagents.
