Gallows - In The Belly Of A Shark
Album Review

Gallows – In The Belly Of A Shark

More down with the kids than Fred Dinage in the peak of his How 2 days Gallows are flying high, In the Belly of a Shark is a good indication of the band’s appeal, biting hard riffs with hard screaming vocals, these guys would eat the Hoosiers for breakfast.

In The Belly Of A Shark is a pretty text book display of what this band can do, metal riffs played at punk speed. Sometimes when bands are adored as much as Gallows are, there is obviously a lot of record label moulding; in this case however, they are popular because they are real and actually pretty good.

Its refreshing to hear a band make proper hardcore music and not have to keep in soft melodic sections to keep the poppier audiences. This is proper balls out rock music and even though bands like Wolf Eyes and The Bronx might do it better, Gallows are flying the flag for the UK and they are force to be reckoned with.
