Kingsize – The Daze EP

Well, Kingsize certainly do listen to some of the big bands. ‘The Daze’ mixes the guitar work of The Jam with the ramshackle-appeal of Babyshambles and turns into shite. And runny shite at that.

‘Amsterdam’ is the kind of thing the guys from Little Man Tate would make up on a ten-minute bus trip through the city to keep their minds busy and they’re no musical geniuses. Its not a bad tune, it’s just got nothing interesting to it at all, it’s just so blah.

Worst of all is ‘Temptress’ that mixes Kooks with Pigeon Detectives to inevitably average results and then finishes in a ‘What? What? Is that it?’ kind of way. Massively underwhelming.
