Glasswerk Editorial – 8th October

Is music becoming predictable?

Surprise surprise! It won’t be the last we’ll be seeing of Britney Spears, Led Zeppelin, Pete Doherty, Madonna, Rolling Stones and Joy Division after all. Those who thought sex, drugs and rock n roll, old age, obesity or even death could stop them were sadly mistaken.

Bands and popstars, through their music, live forever. It’s the only the live performances that lead us to doubt their immortal abilities, yet with all these artists scheduled, expected and rumoured to be performing live, it shows that more miracles happen on stage than they do in the studio.

Unfortunately if you are looking for information about the current weight of Britney Spears, the latest tat between Pete Doherty and those around him, or if you expect to read efforts made by the media to reform bands like Blur and New Order, you have come to the wrong website.

Welcome to the new look Glasswerk.co.uk the saviour of musical gossip, the music portal to the artists themselves. Interviews, live reviews, up-to-the-minute breaking news, music videos and reviews of top new releases and rough cuts of garage demos from the future of stars of pop music. Still in development there are plenty of new features for you on the way so keep an eye out.

This week find out what happened when amazing new mathtronic indienational rock act Foals dropped in on The Soul Tree in Cambridge, Mewithoutyou played The Borderline and we have some exclusive interviews with Tom Findlay from Groove Armada, chart topper Robyn and the legendary Gloria Jones coming up. Enjoy!
