Royal Variety Performance 2007

The Royal Variety Performance, In Presence of HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh K.G.K.T is to be held at The Empire Theatre, Liverpool on the 3rd of December 2007.

The first Royal Show was attended at The Palace Theatre, Shaftsbury Avenue London on the 1st July 1912 by their majesties King George V and Queen Mary. In response to this, King George announced he would attend a yearly variety show on terms that the profits went to “The Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund” (Formerly known as “The Variety Artistes Benevolent Fund”).

Since This, The EABF has been honored by the Royal patronage ever since and the funding from the Royal Variety Performance goes towards maintaining Brinsworth House which houses retired members of the entertainment profession as well as their dependants.

Attending the event will be performances from TV competition “Britain’s Got Talent” These Include the winner, Paul Potts as well as finalists Damon Scott, Bessie Curzon’s, Kombat Breakers, Connie Talbot and The Bar Wizards.

“Britain’s Got Talent” will be re-appearing on television in 2008.
