Glasswerk Editorial – 25th October

We hit the ground running with the new website, so let me start by saying welcome to Glasswerk.co.uk and if you are a first time visitor please take 45 seconds to register so you can make use of the interactive stuff on the site.

You’ll see (at the bottom of the home page) we now have interviews, competitions and features, which is just great. People are really keen to give us tickets so we are equally eager to pass them on to the music loving public. The questions are always really easy so don’t stress and you don’t need a pop music degree to enter. This week we are offering Peter, Bjorn and John link in London and Manchester’s Warehouse Party link have tickets up for grabs so you can dig that, yes you can.

We have a whole video section which this week features the remarkable David Ford’s link new video, there are two new ones from The Cribs link and a taster of the delightful Maccabees link new single, it doesn’t get any hotter than that in the UK.

You’ll also see we’ve been hooking up with celebrated DJ’s Groove Armada link and DJ Yoda link to have a chat about what the future holds for dance music and we have a real special treat from when we caught up with Gloria Jones link who chats about young Zolan and the release of some old T-Rex tunes coming out on vinyl this month. These can be found in the interviews section.

All this plus the usual array of new releases and live music reviews. Have you got whats coming out? Where you there?

Time for me to get off here and out your hair, ears and eyes so you can get reading.
