The nu-rave stomp of New Young Pony Club, the high jinks of Har Mar Superstar, the catchiness of the 5678’s and the carefree push of The Cheeky Girls is moulded together by Six Danes. Yeah, it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but there is an unmistakable charisma and parodying cheesiness to Alphabeat. They blur the boundaries between nu-rave and straight out fun-pop. What has this Nu-rave craze started and where will it end?
