Ever wondered how they choose music for the TV ads?
Well, independent media company Sparklemedia are opening their doors to UK bands regardless of size, profile or status. Signed or unsigned, they want you to send them links.
They are searching for the next big song.
TV advertising today is one way of making an impact on the general public and whether you agree with it or not, it is successful way of reaching a lot of people.
The indie media company are working on a huge and still secret project and open the window of opportunity to you for the next ten days.
You can suggest your own music or something that you think would be ideal as TV music.
The criteria is wide open but the theme is for an outdoor setting and they’re looking for a timeless piece like Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez – Sony Bravia) or something quirky like Little Yellow Spider (Devandra Banhart – Orange) or something with power like In The End (Linkin Park)
If you think you have or know of a song that will get stuck in the head of millions of TV viewers send a link or CD to the address below or follow the link to the website.
*There are no genre restrictions just some good quality audio from up and coming bands. The winning tracks will appear on the promo and have national air play and TV play as well as receiving a publishing deal from Sparkle*. All entries must be received by the 9th Of November with a limit of 3 tracks per artist. mp3’s can be submitted to mail marked PIP audio.
